DEFINING DOKHAVEN 

INTERNATIONAL Architecture Summer School BY rotterdamse academie van bouwkunst

Participants from twenty countries explored the potentials of Dokhaven, the ex-shipyard now in process of gentrification. Accompanied by eight teachers, all alumni of the Academy, and supervisors Jeroen Ruitenbeek and Arjan Clock, the participants were divided in four groups thatexplored various scenarios of further development of Dokhaven. The results were presented during a public meeting with the supervisors and critics, including representatives of the Port Authority. source
 

Our group took the scenario of  RDM as a cultural hub using the abandoned warehouse as a gallery and connecting it with a ski-lift to the artist in residence warehouse by Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen on the opposite side of the docks.
